Meet the Therapist

I am currently a Certified Athletic Therapist and Registered Massage Therapist, and Owner of Lanzi Athletic Therapy and Sports Medical Services. Along with this, I work at LeDrew Professional Sports Medicine in Etobicoke, and The Movement Lab in Mississauga, work with Team Ontario Basketball and Lacrosse, and with the Uchenna Academy Prep Basketball Team as an Certified Athletic Therapist. Throughout my life, I have been always been active, be it in sports or in fitness, and becoming an Athletic Therapist is my way to stay involved with them as a career. I also currently have the amazing opportunity to act as a Coach and Program Coordinator to a Special Olympics Recreational Basketball team.

Over the years, I have had the great opportunity to work with a variety of individuals, with several going on to represent Canada or being signed professionally, both nationally and internationally. The great thing about my profession, however, is that you DO NOT need to be a pro athlete to get the same treatment these athletes do! As well, an athletic therapy treat can work for EVERYONE! How we work is under the sports medicine model of care - all it means for you is my aim is to get you back to what you do ASAP - whether your a basketball player that needs to get back in the game or an electrician that needs to work overhead all day.

I enjoy the outdoors, and frequently can be found cycling throughout the GTA during the summer months. I understand how important an active lifestyle can be, and work to keep everyone - from elderly gardeners, to factory workers, to young figure skaters, to Olympic level athletes - return to what they love to do. Whether it's finding an alternative or modified way to do work, integrating exercises in your work or workplace, going for a dip, doing some aquatherapy in your pool, or just giving you some simple stretches and posture tips, these all exemplify how I can help you!

I believe in a multifaceted approach to rehabilitation, and patient education is my top priority.  Each and every patient that comes through my doors will get the same in-depth assessment and treatment, and in the end, your appointment will be specific to your needs and goals!

Feel free to check me out on any of the social media platforms below!
